For several months now I've written nothing but depressing poetry and little fragments. But thanks to DrWicked's Write or Die Desktop Program, I'm actually writing something! Yay for Dramione Fluffiness! (Even if the thought of ME writing said fluffiness is a bit terrifying. XD)
Edit: BTW, I'm writing a bunch of short fan fictions for NaNo next month!! If anyone does read this, and has a prompt or a pairing that they'd like, I would love it if you'd speak up!

dramione_ldws. I signed up, and the first challenge is already over, and has been voted on. *laughs* I decided to try first person POV at the very last minute.
It ended up horribly jumpy. It seemed like it stumbled around with random thoughts being spilled out everywhere.
So the drabble was absolutely horrendous. I'm surprised I wasn't voted out. Instead, I ended up in 10th place. Yay me.
The next drabble is due tomorrow. I have a lot more confidence in this one, though. Mostly because it's in a POV I'm comfortable with. No more of this first person c***. *shudders*
Anyways, the voting is anonymous, and starts Thursday... Wish me luck!!

I saw this while browsing on DeviantArt.com, and I just had to share it with you guys...
The woman in the foreground reminds me of a character of mine, Carissa Morgan. Carissa's an assassin... has been since she was thirteen. When I saw this, I thought, "Damn, she looks familiar." And then I realized just how similar she is to Rissa. Not just appearance-wise, but the expression, too. How she seems calm, a bit resigned, but determined.
*shakes head* But it's a gorgeous shot, isn't it?

Carissa was supposed to be able to speak half a dozen languages fluently and a dozen more haltingly. Below is a link to an elaborate web that represents a little bit of Carissa. It's odd to think that next year people won't be dissing president Bush. Obama. Wow. Under the cut is a video of his speech. It's here for me and anyone else who cares to remember a speech that I'm going to say is one of the best I've ever heard. Keep it up, Illinois!

So. My friend flipped out on me today.
I told her to get off the phone. It was a very reasonable request. I mean, we were at her little sister's birthday party. I know Sofie* doesn't like her little sister, but she needs to deal with that. I also understand that I can be annoying. That doesn't entitle her to blow up in my face.
So, I left the party before the cake and presents. Two hours after I got home, Sofie calls me. She tells me that she wanted to hang out with a friend who's going to die before the end of the year.
So now there are two options here:
A) Sofie's telling the truth and didn't tell me for some Very Honorable Reason
or
B) Sofie's lying.
So, who knows where life's going with this. All I know is that I won't be given anything I can't handle.
